International University College of Turin Master Financial Aid Scholarships


The Financial Aid Scholarships program specifically looks to engage students and young scholars from all over the world with special emphasis on the periphery, or ‘global south’, with leading figures in economics, law and the humanities.

The Financial Aid Scholarships IUC offers a 1 year LLM program in Comparative Law, Economics and Finance as well as a 2 year MSc. A number of renown intellectuals and scholars from around the world serve on the faculty and advisory board, including: Guido Calabresi (former Dean of the Yale School of Law), David Gerber (Chicago Kent School of Law), Josef Halevi (University of Sydney), Duncan Kennedy (Harvard Law School), Ugo Mattei (University of Torino University of California, Hastings), Stefano Rodotà (coauthor of the European Charter of Fundamental Rights), Amartya Sen (Nobel Laureate), Gunther Teubner (Frankfurt School), Jan Toporowski (SOAS, University of London), Gustavo Zagrebelsky (Emeritus President of the Italian Constitutional Court).

Our Financial Aid Scholarships students are from more than 40 different countries, spanning four continents, representative of a diverse range of disciplines and cultural backgrounds, with a focus on donation opportunities to students coming from social, economic, and/or political challenges, particularly students from former colonized territories (e.g., the global south) and other newer peripheries.

Defap Graduate School-Phd Financial Aid Scholarships


The Financial Aid Scholarships doctoral program is now in its pair of eight years of activity, is widely recognized as one of the best doctoral programs in economics Italian public and built a very promising record in the placement of graduates.

Financial Aid Scholarships Students at DEFAP Graduate School may enroll the program directly from 3 years PhD (with scholarships) or 1-year Master's program (no scholarships). After completion of the Master program, students have the opportunity to have selected for a position to compete with a doctoral scholarship.

Financial Aid Scholarships Deadline and positions:
Deadline to apply: 31 May
9 PhD scholarships will be awarded on merit.
Undergraduate students can apply without their degree. In this case, admission will be accepted conditionally and the candidate will have submit to the diploma di laurea or the foreign academic qualification by the deadline matriculation, or give up the place.

International Student Scholarships in Science at University

A number of Scholarships are available to non UK and NON eu students for undergraduate and taught postgraduate studies in the following subject areas(Biological Science, Biomedical, Chemistry, Computer Science,Engineering, Physics, Geography, Psychology, Sport Science). The Scholarship Scheme is for entry in the Session 2011/12 only. The Scheme applies to international (non-UK and non-EU) studentsmaking applications for a fulltime taught programme of study only and includes students wishing to enter directly into years 2, 3 or 4 of the programme of study. The closing date for applications for Scholarships is 1 September 2011 and Applications should bemade direct to the relevant department or the International Office. No application for a Scholarship shall be considered without the Department having first received either a UCAS application formor an application formfor a postgraduate programme of study. Award of Scholarships is up to amaximumof £1,500 (or £750 for BA Geography) and is at the discretion of the Department. Departmentsmay award a Scholarship subject to satisfaction of any conditions, which it determines appropriate for entry to the programme of study. Scholarshipsmay only be awarded to applicants satisfying general University, Departmental and Programme of Study regulations.

The Scholarship is payable as a credit against tuition fees only, No guarantee of a Scholarship can bemade where an applicant indicates that he/she wishes to defer entry to 2012/13. The Scholarship is awarded per annumfor the normal period of study. No student shall be entitled to a scholarship in excess of the period of study for which they are originally registered. This should be noted by any student wishing, after their first year of study, to transfer to the first year of another programme of study. The continuation of a scholarship after the first year of study is subject to satisfactory performance in assessments and examinations and progression to the next normal year of study. Scholarships are not transferable between Departments.Where a student wishes to transfer to another programme of study in another Department, the new Department is under no obligation to honour the commitment to a scholarship. Any student wishing to transfer to another Department be advised tomake appropriate enquiries of the new Department in advance of any firmdecision to transfer.
